ABOUT MY THERAPY
Healing Happens Together
I believe that true change begins when you feel truly seen and safe. My approach isn't about fitting you into a box; it’s about stepping into your world with empathy and respect. Whether you are navigating personal hurdles or family challenges, I’m here to help you untangle the thoughts and patterns that cause you distress.
My practice is deeply human. I view you as a whole person—full of purpose—not a set of symptoms. Together, we’ll focus on the things within your control, building the practical skills and self-awareness you need to lead a more active, meaningful life. From traditional talk therapy to mind-body techniques like trauma-informed yoga and meditation, we will find the specific tools that resonate with your unique journey.

The Root of My Mission
My desire to serve is deeply personal. Growing up in Tacoma as the child of a police officer, I saw firsthand what happens when people in crisis lack access to the care they deserve. Those early experiences shaped my life’s mission: ensuring that individuals from all walks of life have a path to recovery and a partner in their mental and physical well-being.

My Therapeutic Philosophy
-you are the captain of your chip, and smooths eas do not make skilled sailors i am dedicated to following your journey
I believe you are more than a set of symptoms or a diagnosis—you are a "whole" person with inherent purpose and value. My practice is built on a Humanistic and Existential foundation, which means:
You are the Architect: You are an active participant in your life, not just an observer.

Safety First: Healing only happens in a judgment-free environment where you feel entirely safe and heard.
The Power of Connection: Our relationship is the core of the therapy. Together, we explore how your history and relationships shape who you are today.

How We Work Together -- bottom up-
I provide an integrative, trauma-informed space where we treat the mind and body as one. We don't just talk about change; we build the tools to make it happen.
1. Practical Tools for Daily Life
Using CBT, DBT, and ACT, we identify what is within your control. We work on shifting emotional patterns and developing problem-solving skills to help you regain steady ground.
2. Healing the Nervous System
Distress is often stored in the body. To address this, I incorporate Somatic EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. These techniques help regulate your nervous system, moving you from "survival mode" into a state of calm.
3. Advanced Healing Pathways
For those seeking deeper transformation, I offer specialized interventions including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to unlock new avenues for growth.
I am deeply committed to stepping into your world with empathy and respect. My goal is to help you replace "stuck" emotional patterns with resilience, clarity, and a lifelong foundation for wellness.
